DMEU Technician
Main Purpose of Role
Nottinghamshire Police are seeking a Digital Multimedia Evidence Technician who will be responsible for the forensic preservation, extraction, examination, analysis, processing, and presentation of Digital Multimedia Evidence.
The successful candidate will join a team of forensic video practitioners and provide a complete digital multimedia service to Nottinghamshire Police covering all aspects of imagery, video and audio evidence, including but not exclusively, CCTV, Mobile Phone Footage, Body Worn Video recordings, vehicle dash camera recordings and video recorded interviews.
Key Skills & Experience Required
Candidates will Hold a degree or be able to demonstrate work related qualifications pertaining to the field of Digital multimedia evidence or have equivalent work-based experience. They should hold qualifications of certification in a range of Digital Multimedia and / or Digital Forensics products with accompanying experience. They should have experience of working in a quality management environment. With knowledge of ISO 17025 / 17020 accreditation. They must be able to demonstrate knowledge of and practical experience in CCTV technology, industry innovations and current standards relevant to the recovery and processing of digital multimedia evidence.
The role works a shift pattern working 50% of weekends and a number of evening shifts.
