Procurement Support Officer
Develop your procurement knowledge, providing support to the whole of the procurement team at Leicestershire Police.
This is a procurement role like no other…not many procurement roles will have you procuring tasers, dogs and secret high-tech technology!
We’re looking for a Procurement Support Officer to join our team supporting all aspects of its activity.
You’ll be developing your procurement knowledge through the role itself and through academic study, enabling you to grow your skills and provide a high-quality service to the force.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a high level of support to the procurement and contracts teams
- Managing approvals and purchases from suppliers
- Maintaining the procurement and purchasing intranet sites
The must haves
- Great interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Experience of using electronic purchasing and/or financial systems
- Able to handle data, accurately inputting, retrieving, and searching for information
