As a Facilities Manager (Contracts), you will be responsible for managing the PFI contract ensuring that the Force gets maximum benefit from the accommodation, continuously developing alternative and innovative solutions to reduce costs.
You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with the PFI Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), Support Services Manchester, and the PFI Provider, John Laing, ensuring that at all times they perform in accordance with the PFI contract.
The role also requires contract management and monitoring in accordance with EU Procurement Directives, Force Contract Standing Orders and best practice contract management techniques with due consideration for Equalities, Risk, Sustainability, Environmental issues and Health & Safety Legislation.
You will also be supporting the Head of Facilities Management in developing and implementing the Estate Strategy and to ensure that Force Strategic objectives are achieved.
The successful Candidate will have technical knowledge in relation to Building Contract management with a relevant degree level qualification, and/or a relevant procurement and contract management qualification.
