CIB Team Leader

Applicants are invited to apply for the post of CIB Team Leader. The successful applicant will work within the Central Intelligence Bureau, based at Hatfield. The post holder will be overseeing CIB workload and management of threat, harm, and risk. The CIB Team Leader will act as a Single Point of Contact for specific areas of business, including for other forces and agencies/partners and reporting into the force lead (CIB Intelligence Manager).

To achieve this the post holder will have the ability to manage teams, workloads and work to tight deadlines.

Successful applicants will be supervising the Intelligence Support Officers who review, evaluate and disseminate intelligence in line with the force aims of crime reduction, community safety and catching criminals.

This role is key to supporting the briefing and tasking of frontline officers and brings with it a significant sense of achievement. The post holder will not only be responsible for supervising the team but will be expected to identify areas of risk and perform fast and slow time operational intelligence duties.

The post holder will have good interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritise work and an enquiring mind. They will also be expected to promote the work of the intelligence unit in a professional manner.
