Job Title: Criminal Records Administrator
Salary Range: £26,106 - £28,653
Work Location: Near Fareham
Hours per week: Monday – Friday with flexible office hours

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join us as Criminal Records Administrators, within a national policing unit.
The successful applicants will deliver a core service to our business, with full training provided in how to interrogate policing databases and respond to enquiries from International and UK customers or stakeholders.
You will primarily work independently undertaking day to day tasks. However, you will operate as part of a team specialising in a particular process or task, contributing to ACRO delivering an excellent service to a UK law enforcement, the criminal justice system and public protection throughout the UK and overseas.
A keen eye for detail, and an interest in developing your knowledge of policing information is key.

ACRO Criminal Records Office supports UK and international law enforcement by processing criminal records for the purposes of public protection, safeguarding and worldwide community safety.

- Educated to QCF Level 2, with at least 3 passes to include English and Mathematics. OR proven work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level
Essential Experience
- Experience in handling confidential information, both manual and computerised.
- To be computer/keyboard literate and a competent keyboard user.
- Proven experience of updating a computerised system with speed and accuracy.
- Proven experience of working with minimal supervision.
- Proven experience of paying attention to detail.
