Digital Forensic Technician (DFU) University Placement- 12 months fixed term

To provide a force resource with regard to the forensic recovery, analysis and presentation of digital evidence from devices including mobile telephones, tablet computers and other digital devices, ensure the continuity of all exhibits maintaining integrity throughout to prove or disprove the presence of criminal offences under investigation, give advice and guidance to investigating officers, compile extensive forensic findings of evidence reports and to present such evidence in a Court of Law.

What You’ll Do

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Digital Forensics Unit in a 12-month University placement with a projected start date of June 2025, where applicants are available to start sooner would also be welcome.

The successful applicants will be required to work the attached hours and will give you a strong foundation in developing your skillset and knowledge in the specific field of work.

You will be required to provide a force resource regarding the forensic recovery, analysis and presentation of digital evidence from devices including mobile telephones, tablet computers and other digital devices.
