Full-time permanent posts (37 hours)
Several exciting Project Manager opportunities have become available to join the growing NPAS Projects Team in the successful and timely delivery of projects within our major change portfolio. These are permanent, full-time roles which are home-based with national travel being a requirement of the role.

The role
As a Project Manager, you will deliver significant major change and help to shape the future direction of NPAS. You will be responsible for managing and implementing key projects which will deliver new functionality and drive efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organisation.
The Team delivers a wide and varied change portfolio, from inception through the development of robust, evidenced-based business cases to implementation using a range of project management tools and techniques.
In the role of Project Manager, you will lead projects at a national, regional, and local level. Our projects cover all areas of Police Aviation, including aircraft modification, radio communications, estate infrastructure as well as ‘proof of concept’ evaluation of new technologies and working practices.
This role will involve some travel throughout England and Wales as and when required.
What will you need?
We are looking for people who have demonstrable and evidenced experience of managing and delivering projects, preferably within a delivery function. You will also have:
• A professional qualification in project management such as APM, Prince2, PMP or equivalent experience
• Experience of successfully delivering large multi discipline projects
• Ability to manage and lead a variety of stakeholders at all levels
• Strong people leadership track record with experience of leading teams
• Experience of dealing with complex problems and creating solutions
• Strong influencing and communication skills
• Strong collaborative skills, team player
• Good understanding of cost control and preparation of formal business documentation
