We are delighted to announce that we are running the life-changing employment programme for young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for a second year within Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire.
DFN Project SEARCH is a one-year supported internship programme for 18 to 24-year-olds who have come to the end of their academic journey and are ready to enter the world of work.
The programme with involve interns completing a total of 3 rotations throughout the year. These will be across different departments based within Police Stations and Council Offices within the Grimsby area. This will enable interns to develop their employability skills as well as provide hands-on experience in the workplace.
We have teamed up with Learning4Life and North East Lincolnshire Council to ensure the selected interns are fully supported throughout the internship. They will have dedicated on-site Job Tutor and Coach to help support them whilst on rotation but also build employability skills which will be classroom-based.
