Volunteers in Policing Co-ordinator
Do you want to make a real difference, providing a first-class service to the public and interacting with a variety of people?
We are looking for a Volunteers in Policing Co-ordinator to work in Leicestershire Police on a full-time permanent basis based at Force Headquarters and travelling around the regional offices.
You will be supporting the Head of Operations in the effective co-ordination and deployment of volunteers across the Force.
Key Responsibilities
- To liaise with the Chief Officer of the Special Constabulary and maximise the use and deployment of the Special Constabulary.
- To provide a single point of contact and liaison to internal departments in respect of all Volunteers in Policing.
- To provide management information on performance, recruiting, best practice and training.
The must haves
- To be educated to GCSE standard, or equivalent, in English Language and Maths to Grade C and/or be able to demonstrate ability to the above level through method of work experience.
- Practical experience of managing devolved budgets.
- The ability to plan and implement new systems and procedures, where it has been necessary to co-ordinate work streams.

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
Salary-£30,468 - £34,329
