Deputy Chief Driving Instructor
Deliver the high standards of driver training to our force.
As our Deputy Chief Driving Instructor you will monitor and maintain the quality of driver training for Derbyshire Constabulary. You’ll develop and plan annual training, supporting all elements of training from theory, delivery, improvement, and practice.
Working closely with the Chief Driving Instructor, you’ll assist with the people management of the team, allocating and monitoring tasks and activities for the trainers,ensuring compliance within the requirements of Derbyshire Constabulary and College of Policing.
This is a part time role 29.6hrs per week.
Salary: £25,526-£42,987 (pro rata)
What you’ll be doing
- Monitoring and maintaining quality of driver training content and delivery for the force
- Ensure compliance with all requirements of the College of Policing licensing conditions
- To train, develop and assess students and trainers
The must haves
- Be a qualified, competent, and current Police Driving Instructor
- Experience of managing a team
- Ability to analyse and manage data, prepare, and present high quality complex reports
