Police Staff Investigator (PSI) Level 2
APPLICANTS MUST BE PIP LEVEL 2 QUALIFIED
You will be joing the Fraud Investigation Team as a qualified PIP2 Investigator. You will conduct serious and complex investigations, interview victims and witnesses in relation to serious and complex investigations and interview suspects in relation to serious and complex investigations. To prepare and complete files in accordance with court deadlines, legislation, and force policy, ensuring that crimes under investigation are compliant with Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 (CPIA) and the Victims Charter.
As a commitment to your development, you will be required to complete the SFI course normally held in London for 2 weeks and then complete a portfolio to become a qualified Fraud Investigator. This is a nationally recognised qualification and is undertaken by the lead force for Fraud the City of London Police.
