Traffic Prosecutions Investigator

Investigate a range of traffic offences.

Leicestershire Police are looking for a Traffic Prosecutions Investigator to join the Criminal Justice Department.

You’ll be coordinating investigations and acting as a subject expert to a range of stakeholders and in courts.

You will be working 18.5 hours per week Tuesday – Thursday, based at Mansfield House Police Station.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather a range of evidence and choose a course of action.
  • Attend court as the Officer on the case.
  • Provide advice and guidance to internal and external customers.

The must haves

  • Experience directing investigations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary range: £30,468 - £34,329 pro rata. For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
