The Kent Police and Crime Commissioner, Matthew Scott, is seeking a self-motivated and proactive individual to become the new manager for the Kent Criminal Justice Board.
You will be working closely with the Commissioner in his role as Chair of the Kent Criminal Justice Board, and focussing on the delivery of the KCJB Strategic Plan. You will be monitoring organisations’ performance, and identifying any issues, in order for remedial action to be taken through the Board.
Working with key partner agencies across the Criminal Justice Sector is an integral part of the role, and the successful candidate will therefore bring their knowledge and experience of working with multi-agency partnerships to this position.
As well as the ability to work successfully with partners, you must have project management skills and/or a qualification in this area, and be familiar with delivering change programmes. As such, you must be able to evidence very high-level communication and negotiation skills, and extensive experience in preparing and delivering briefings at a strategic level.
Whilst you will be working with both the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Chief Executive, and the OPCC analyst, you must be able to work independently and proactively. You must be able to work collaboratively, but equally be confident to offer challenge where needed. You must also be extremely well-organised and able to manage multiple competing workstreams at once.
This post is home-based working, with the expectation of 1-2 days in the OPCC Office at Force Headquarters in Sutton Road, Maidstone, and visiting partner agencies.
To discuss the role further, please contact the OPCC at contactyourpcc@kent.police.uk, for the attention of the Chief Executive, Mr David Paul.
Kent Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £45,591.00.
