AV Metrics Analyst
Use your expertise in digital forensics to make a positive difference to the lives of victims and bring offenders to justice.
We are looking for a Audio Visual Metrics Analyst to join our forward thinking and innovative Digital Hub, working full-time Monday-Friday (08:00-16:00) on a permanent basis. A flexible approach to working hours will be required, with a willingness to react to duty changes at short notice.
Due to the nature of the role, travel may be required on occasion and as such a full UK driving licence is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an effective and efficient, high quality digital service to Leicestershire Police, the community and the Criminal Justice System by completing CCTV analysis, speed estimation and height estimation from video and associated media.
- Provide both evidence of fact and expert evidence of opinion to the criminal justice system in adherence to ISO17025 standards and the Forensic Science Regulator’s Code of Practice.
The must haves
- Qualified to Degree or equivalent in a digital technology subject, and a working knowledge of Audio/Visual systems.
- Significant work experience in the use of a wide range of IT and CCTV systems gained in support, development or forensics role, combined with a good understanding of digital forensic techniques.
- Experience of liaising and working with external organisations, explaining and demonstrating the procedures and actions carried out.

Salary: £32,772-£36,996
For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
