Head of Strategic Workforce

Support Derbyshire Constabulary by planning for our future, ensuring we have an outstanding workforce.

As Head of Strategic Workforce, you will have the opportunity to embed a new approach to workforce planning, setting direction and ensuring alignment with the force’s strategy, vision, and values.

With your innovative and future focused approach you support the senior managers to anticipate and plan for the future workforce needs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing and delivering innovative workforce planning strategies.
  • Taking ownership of and developing the force’s succession planning approach.
  • Delivering the force’s employee engagement strategy and associated activity.

About you:

  • You’ll have an advanced understanding of strategic workforce planning and experience of its application within a large organisation.
  • You will have experience using innovative practices and effective approaches to present workforce data.
  • You’ll be experienced in executing an employee engagement strategy.

Salary £62,946-£71,184

Full Time, 37 hours per week
