Crime Desk / Incident Resolution Team Member
We are looking for a dedicated and innovative individual to join our team as a Crime Desk / Incident Resolution Team Member. The successful candidate will provide exceptional service to the public, police, and other organisations, offering help and advice while utilising creative solutions to minimise the need for deploying operational officers.This is a fixed term role, for a period of 2 years from starting date.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality service and support to the public, police, and partner organizations.
Apply the THRIVE principles (Threat, Harm, Risk, Investigation, Vulnerability, and Engagement) to manage calls and enquiries effectively. Input, maintain, and interrogate police computer systems, ensuring the accuracy and validity of crime information in line with Force Policy, National Guidance, and GDPR.
Ensure compliance with National Crime Recording Standards and National Standards of Incident Recording.
Provide crime prevention advice and reassurance to the public.
Resolve incidents and crimes during initial contact when possible, updating and finalizing records accordingly.
Document rationale and required actions for incidents needing further investigation or in-person attendance by police officers or PCSOs.
