Job Title: Cultural Organisational Learning Coordinator

Salary: The starting salary is £38,926, which includes allowances totalling £2,928.

The salary is broken down as £35,998 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £38,523. Plus, a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

Location: New Scotland Yard and remote working

The Directorate is looking for an exceptional individual to help drive the Met transition to a learning organisation and embed the Values and Principles in all we do. This is an exciting and challenging role requiring energy, an inquisitive experiential mindset and powerful people skills.

Organisational Learning is about designing and implementing the structures, processes and behaviours that capture knowledge from internal, external, corporate and local sources across disciplines, improving what we do and holding knowledge as corporate memory, to ultimately transform the Mets’ culture.

As an Cultural Organisational Learning Coordinator, you will be a huge part of operationalising the Mets Organisational Learning network. You will be responsible at times for analysing organisational learning to ensure that risks and opportunities are clear, and that analysis, evaluation and learning have a route to action. The Cultural Organisational Learning Coordinator will also be responsible for assisting the advisor in managing relationships with Thematic Strand Leads, collaborating with them on a regular basis and provide SME support and advice on thematic concerns and issues.

The Strategy, Coordination and Insights unit within CD&I develops and delivers insight and evaluation across the Met to identify risk areas and areas where they are doing culture change well. You will also be innovatively minded, to look at effective ways of embedding and socialising the NMfL Values and Principles into the organisation. The Cultural Organisational Learning Advisor will also be responsible for supporting any work that arises from the Thematic Strand Leads, collaborating with the Cultural Organisational Advisor on how to support with work and tasks.

Please note this role requires expertise in knowledge management techniques. The role equally requires professional maturity and integrity, strong relational and communication skills and an understanding of team dynamics.
