Salary - £45,147.00 - £48,894.00

 

Hours – 37 per week 

 

Contract – Permanent

About the Role

 

To provide expert clinical mental health treatment and advice Description: To triage assess and prioritise mental health needs within the workforce. Providing relevant treatments or onward referral. Support development of prevention and treatment strategies..

 

Responsibilities will be and not limited to:

 

1.  Providing in person/Telephone/TEAMS assessment and providing treatment and/or referral to other services.

 

2. Developing long and short term strategies to reduce impact of trauma and the related mental health concerns associated including PTSD/CPTSD

 

3. To provide education and deliver inputs on mental health and trauma to the workforce

 

4. To research and recommend treatment and therapies that are proven and best practice.

 

5. To develop trauma informed inputs to staff and officers to support resilience, resourcing levels and return to work plans. To enable operational delivery.

 

6. To manage a caseload

Essential Qualifications

 

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RNMH) with Diploma/Degree in accordance with NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council).

 

Essential Experience

 

Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues.

 

Understanding of occupational trauma (Military/Bluelight) and challenges of UK policing

 

Experience of online/telephone/in person clinical needs assessment

 

IT & records management competent including GDPR compliance
