Working as an Inspector with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary
As an Inspector you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team within a district or area of business. Through authentic and visible leadership you will focus your team on protecting the vulnerable and preventing offending whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
You will role model our force priorities, and through your Sergeants create cultures that allow everyone to thrive and deliver performance.
You will work with colleagues and partners to create engaged, confident communities that enable the force to meet both community and force needs through the effective identification and management of threat, risk, harm and vulnerability. Enthusiastic and passionate about public service you will be committed to enhancing the wellbeing and resilience of your team to drive performance improvements and deliver quality outcomes for the public.
Essential Qualifications
- Must be a serving police officer in a Home Office force, or a previous Home Office Force police officer applying as a re-joiner at a higher rank.
- Must have a valid OSPRE part 1 and 2 qualification or if qualifications were gained after 2014 hold a valid NPPF step 2 legal exam pass at the date of the promotion board. (NPPF passes have a validity of 5 years only)
