- CIP - Volunteer Opportunity - Fraud Safeguarding Volunteer - Hutton HQ
Lancashire Constabulary are looking for volunteers to join the Fraud Safeguarding Team!
Your role as a fraud safeguarding volunteer will be to visit vulnerable victims of fraud to:
- Help them write correspondence e.g. letters to banks if no refund is received.
- Fit a trueCALL to their telephone landline (device that plugs into the phone and the device plugs into the telephone socket) this helps stop 90+% of nuisance calls and prevents them becoming repeat victims of fraud.
- Helping to man stalls at events such as Colleges, Universities, Women’s Institute meetings, Rotary Club events etc.
- To attend banks and other public areas, providing advice and raising awareness to members of the public about fraud
