Technical Manager - Digital Forensic Unit

Lead the achievement and maintenance of ISO 17025 (and ISO 17020 where appropriate) accreditation and FSR (Forensic Science Regulator) Code of Practice compliance regarding Agile Digital Forensic Capabilities within the DFU by ensuring that all procedure documentation, equipment validation and staff competence remains up-to-date, and acting where it is not. Provide leadership in the provision of digital evidence expertise by investigating, forensically recovering, analysing, and examining data stored within different digital devices with various forensic and bespoke equipment and processes. Produce high quality reports and technical statements to provide specialist support to police investigations.
