Senior Forensic Scene Examiner

To carry out recovery of evidence, examinations, test and processes in the laboratory as instructed, to clearly defined standards and report the factual outcome (generated by an instrument or from a limited set of outcomes) either internally or externally.
To undertake relevant examinations at scene incidents, as tasked, to locate, develop, preserve, record and gather forensic evidence for use by internal and external customers, in the support of the criminal justice system.
To advise the customer at the scene and to prepare reports/statements for external customers.

Out of hours/on call will be required monthly as part of this role which will be paid at normal overtime rate. This will be agreed with the successful candidate time at offer stage and can be discussed at interview with the Hiring Managers.
