PIP2 detectives are required to investigate serious and complex crimes, with commitment to protect and safeguard the vulnerable and pursue offenders through the criminal justice process within our investigation hubs. As a detective in CID, you will be responsible for conducting PIP2 level investigations such as Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking, serious violence, drug trafficking and home burglaries. You will work as part of our CID team involved in both reactive and proactive investigations, working alongside other departments towards the detection of serious crimes, prevent further criminality and protect the public from further harm.

To be considered, you will be required to demonstrate that you have achieved or are working towards PIP2 accreditation and that you have passed the NIE.
