Exciting opportunity for qualified Detective Constables 

 

Nottinghamshire Police are now accepting Transferee applications from qualified PIP2 Detective Constables who have a background in Fraud and are accredited under the Specialist Fraud Investigator Programme. 

 

We are seeking talented and high performing Detectives to join our Fraud Department to investigate some of our most serious and complex investigations.

 

The Fraud Department has a Triage Team and two Pursue Teams. Vacancies are for the Pursue Teams. The Fraud Department is based at Riverside, NG2 area, which is a convenient location for the access to major routes. Operating hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm. Shifts are 8 hrs with a mixture of days and afters.

 

We have a diverse investigator establishment with roles including Detectives, Fast track Detectives, Graduate Investigators and Police Staff Investigators that make up our existing workforce. 

 

 

Nottinghamshire is currently committed to expanding and enhance our investigator establishment. As a Force we are totally committed in providing the best training and support packages for our investigators which includes PIP2 training, VRI, Communications Data and enhanced Investigator training programmes available to you. You will also have the opportunity to become an Financial Intelligence Officer through the NCA as part of your Fraud investigative role.

 

We have a bespoke fast-track transferee process in place and will tailor training to your needs whilst fully recognising previous qualifications and skills. Recent re-joiners may also be considered, but this will be on a case-by-case basis.

In order to transfer to Nottinghamshire Police from a Home Office Police force, you must: 

 

- Be a serving officer in a recognised Home Office police force at the rank of Constable. 

- Constable applicants must have completed the 2 year probationary period. 

- Must be qualified to PIP2.  

- Be free from complaints and hold a full UK/EU manual driving licence. 

 

We are seeking transferee applicants who are enthusiastic, driven and share our relentless drive to deliver excellent service to the public. 

 

Applicants will be required to undertake a training needs analysis as part of the selection process.

What is a re-joiner?  

A re-joiner is a person who is to be appointed as a member of a police force having previously served as a member of a police force, having satisfactorily completed the period of probationary service in the rank of constable required under Regulation 12 and resigned or retired from that force. Please be aware that rejoiner application's will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
