Police Scotland's purpose is to improve the safety and wellbeing of people, places and communities.

As part of the team working in the P& D Division, you can make a real difference by supporting the provision of Learning Technologies to our officers and staff across the second largest police force in the UK.

Key responsibilities of the role include -

To design, develop, deliver, maintain and evaluate Learning Technologies training programmes to support the needs of end users in operational and specialist departments across Police Scotland.

You will be working on the Business As Usual team delivering training in current IT applications to Police Officers and Police Staff.

You will be upskilled in the core delivery content of COS Crime, COS Case and Mobile Working through attendance on Train the Trainer courses, in addition to other applications based on organisational demand.

As this is an internal facing service delivery role, Hybrid Working is not guaranteed, and there may be the requirement to be in the workplace up to 5 days each week.

There will be a requirement for the postholder to travel throughout Scotland for upskilling, training delivery, meetings and workshops. This may require overnight stays away from home where same day travel is not possible. This is planned in advance.
