The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.
Please note: Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.

Statement Taking Administrator
This is an interesting role which involves contacting victims and witnesses via telephone to book appointments for them to give their statement. There is a level of decision making with regards to whether the statement is appropriate to be taken over the telephone or not
The aim of this role contributes to supporting front line officers so that they can provide more focus to front line duties, and also to give an enhanced service to victims of crime within Devon and Cornwall.
Full training is provided as well as ongoing support from supervisors and a friendly team of Statement Takers.

- Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to achieve timescales.
- A good team worker, able to integrate well into a team and build strong connections.
