Admin Support Officer - Vetting
Help set the standards for those working for Derbyshire Constabulary.
The Vetting Team deliver a professional and efficient vetting service and uphold the integrity of our workforce. As a Vetting Admin Support Officer, you will ensure that all vetting applications are correct and in place in a timely manner for the Vetting Researchers to carry out a thorough vetting regime.
The Professional Standards Department are looking to recruit a part time Admin Support Officer on a two year fixed term basis. You will be based at Denby, working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
What you’ll be doing
- Checking ID, documentation and on-line vetting applications for quality and accuracy purposes.
- Maintain and update Vetting originated spreadsheets, databases, reports, lists and taking meeting minutes when required.
- Maintain close liaison with the Force HR department to improve data accuracy and critical recruitment activity.
The must haves
- Hold GSCE Grade C/Level 4 English Language or equivalent or have previous experience of writing reports and correspondence.
- Experience of handling and dealing with sensitive data.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to respond to telephone and face to face enquiries from both internal and external customers.
