Forensic Examiner
To carry out recovery of evidence, examinations, test and processes in the laboratory as instructed, to clearly defined standards and report the factual outcome (generated by an instrument or from a limited set of outcomes) either internally or externally.
To undertake relevant examinations at scene incidents, as tasked, to locate, develop, preserve, record and gather forensic evidence for use by internal and external customers, in the support of the criminal justice system.
To advise the customer at the scene and to prepare reports/statements for external customers.

Currently we hold vacancies for Scottish Crime Campus, Gartcosh locations. We endeavour to have available vacancies across Dundee and Edinburgh in the upcoming months.
If you are successful at interview and a vacancy in your preferred location is not currently available, then we will hold you on a reserve SNV list for up to 12 months. Location preferences will be offered on interview scoring .
Hybrid Working
