Humberside Police are looking for individuals to join them in their Community Safety Unit as Volunteers. To be based on the Southbank, (Grimsby & Scunthorpe area).
As a Community Safety volunteer, you will support the Community Safety Unit and Neighbourhoods Policing teams by providing support with daily tasks arising and to help on projects working alongside uniformed and non-uniformed Officers and Police Staff.
Community Safety Volunteers play a crucial role in supporting the hub and the Community Engagement Officer with inputting accurate data onto the relevant computer systems and liaising with internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- To liaise and update with the Engagement officer for Volunteers.
- To provide support to the CSU and local NPTs on the Southbank.
- Maintain confidentiality in line with GDPR.
- Identifies any relevant critical Intelligence information that needs to be dealt with as a matter of urgency, by bringing to the attention of their SPOC
- Has the ability to recognise when matters should be referred to more senior staff.

Pre – Employment Checks and Eligibility:
- Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria of at least 3 years continuous residency in the UK to apply for roles with Humberside Police.
