Project Officer (Secondment/Fixed Term Contract)
Secondment/Fixed Term Contract for 12 months
If you enjoy enabling the successful delivery of projects, have good organisational skills, strong attention to detail and good numeracy and literacy skills, this is a perfect role for you. We are open to applications from those who do not have previous or recent Project Officer experience.
This role is to be part of a team providing high quality and comprehensive support to the Capital Schemes team delivering estates projects. Your role is key in the operational delivery of these projects. You will work closely with the Project Managers to assist with project tasks and ensuring we successfully deliver all projects.
You will be educated to a good standard with a professional qualification in a business, project management or other related discipline, or educated to degree level, or be able to demonstrate substantial relevant experience within a construction related environment.
The ability to analyse client requirements and prioritise them in line with the organisations needs is essential together with ability to collate information and produce clear and concise reports. You will have experience of research work involving close liaison between internal clients and external contractors/consultants.
Experience of working within a professional team environment, as well as on your own is required along with dealing with people at all levels and being IT literate in Microsoft Office packages.
A full driving licence is essential as capability to travel across the Force is required in order to undertake this role.
