Transfer on promotion to the rank of Sergeant

Gwent Police are pleased to announce that we have opportunities for transfer to the rank of sergeant.

We are seeking applications from those wanting to transfer on level rank to sergeant and those who are qualified by examination and are seeking promotion to the rank of sergeant on transfer.

You will be expected to complete an application form and provide appropriate evidence of you performing to the rank of Sergeant. If successful at this stage, you will be invited to an interview which will consist of a presentation (title will be given in advance) and questions under the competency value framework.
