CCTV Operator
Monitor and observe CCTV cameras in order to prevent and detect crime, identify and reduce anti-social behaviour, obtain best evidence for prosecutions, and provide commentary and clarification to Police Officers and Control Room staff in relation to on-going incidents. Pass appropriate information to the Area Control Room and maintain records relating to CCTV in accordance with current procedures/guidance and Data Protection legislation.
