???? We're Hiring: Health and Wellbeing Screening Technician
???? Location: Thirsk & Northallerton
???? Part-Time: 20.5 hours/week (Tues, Thurs, Fri)
???? Salary: Scale 4/5 £26,106 - £31,296 (full time equivalent)
Join our Occupational Health team and help deliver high-quality screening services across North Yorkshire Police and Fire & Rescue Service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a healthcare background who’s passionate about workplace wellbeing.
???? In this role, you will:
- Conduct medical screenings and health surveillance
- Assess pre-employment questionnaires and fitness for duty
- Deliver health awareness workshops and events
- Screen for dyslexia indicators
- Support reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act
- Maintain and analyse health data to identify trends
- Travel across North Yorkshire (driving licence required)
????⚕️ Ideal for:
- OH Technicians
- Sports Science Graduates
- Medics, HCAs, EMTs
- Anyone with transferable healthcare skills
???? Desirable qualifications:
- Audiology, HAVs Level 1 & 2, Spirometry,
- Experience in occupational health or similar settings
- An understanding of neuro-diverse conditions
- Training will be provided if needed!
