Project Surveyor
Property Services Department is responsible for managing all aspects of Thames Valley Police Force’s operational and residential property portfolio, providing a comprehensive in-house professional estates service.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of small to medium projects, from inception through, design development and construction phases to practical completion and final account. Together with other professional staff you will also deliver larger more complex projects.
Educated to degree level, with a construction related degree, you will have achieved or be close to full membership of a relevant professional body (RICS, CIOB, CIBSE or equivalent).
Experience of delivering refurbishment projects within occupied buildings and of financial and budget management is essential with the ability to use AUTOCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite.
You will be expected to work with little supervision on a day to day basis and be capable of dealing professionally with individuals of all levels. You will also have the ability to work well within or lead a team.
A full driving licence is essential as the ability to travel across the Force’s area is required in order to undertake this role.
