Vehicle Technician
Help maintain our fleet vehicles!
As Vehicle Technician, you will play an important role in Leicestershire Police, ensuring that our fleet vehicles are repaired and maintained properly.
Salary: £31,749 - £35,772 + Market Supplement of £5000
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.00pm. Friday 7.30am- 3.00pm
What you’ll be doing
- To undertake diagnosis of faults and defects and carry out repairs
- undertake road tests of vehicles following repairs
- Liaise with vehicle users and drivers
The must haves
- Hold City and Guilds Vehicle Technician or an equivalent qualification
- Have served a 3-year apprenticeship or equivalent training programme or have had appropriate work experience
- Have working experience on a fleet within a franchised dealership
