Cumbria Constabulary is seeking to appoint a Management Information Assistant to join the Research & Analysis team at Headquarters. This is an important support role providing high-quality management information, data collation and reporting to support operational and organisational decision-making.
Reporting to the Analytics & Evaluation Manager, you will be responsible for collating and disseminating information on policing activity, completing regular data feeds and statutory returns, producing crime statistics for external agencies, and responding to ad-hoc information requests. The role also includes supporting FOI responses, updating monthly dashboards, undertaking data collection and input duties, and contributing to wider project work within the Information Management function.
We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, experience using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and an understanding of data analysis and reporting. You will need to be organised, able to manage competing deadlines, and confident working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
