Job Title: MET PROSECUTION CRIME- Post Prosecution Team Administrator

Salary: The starting salary is £36,228, which includes allowances totalling £3,009

The salary is broken down as £33,219 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £35,541 Plus, a location allowance of £2,009 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

Location: Holborn

 

This is an exciting time to be working as Band E Administrator for the Metropolitan Police Service. In addition to large- scale transformation, there's the unique and ever-evolving challenge of policing London. 

Met Prosecution Crime - Central Post Prosecution Team are centrally located at Holborn Police Station.

The Central Post Prosecution Team performs three core functions, which follows:

  • Supplying on request from London Probation , Update conviction History relating to offenders
  • Responding to requests from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority pertaining to Victims and Witnesses who have sustained an injury as result of a crime related incident
  • Dealing with Justifications of an "Impending Prosecution" which is a criminal case currently within the judicial system, recorded on the police national computer, that has no conclusion. 

Additional Information

The role is office based, full time, Monday to Friday, with an expectation that the successful role holder will work a 36 hours week.

The role does attract flexible working, within already agreed flexible working parameters.

The Central Post Prosecution Team provides a vital administrative role within the Metropolitan Police Service, by delivering three distinct core functions in support of our police officers, partner agencies and victims and witnesses of crime.
