Talent Recruitment Volunteer

Would you be able to support the recruitment of candidates who apply for Avon and Somerset Police?
If so, you may wish to apply to become a Talent Recruitment Volunteer for Avon and Somerset Police.
We are looking for a group of volunteers to support the work of the Talent Acquisition Team. This would involve carrying out various responsibilities including, looking after candidates going through pre-recruitment checks, directing potential applicants at recruitment events and taking the role of Quality Assurer during assessment processes.
Some of the requirements of the role:
- Welcoming candidates to assessment days and familiarisation events.
- Accompanying candidates whilst on police premises.
- Quality Assuring our interview processes.
- Capturing any questions or queries regarding the application process that are flagged by candidates.
Skills required:
- Good communication skills both orally and in writing with the ability to accurately record findings from interview and feedback verbally to the panel.
- Customer service – professional and friendly character and ability to put candidates at ease.
