Offender Management Support - Hybrid Working
Would you like to work in a small team of police offender managers in collaboration with key partners (Probation Services, Health Services and Local Authorities) to reduce the demand and harm caused by a cohort of high demand, domestic abuse offenders, and high harm Offenders as part of the Integrated Offender Management Team?
In this role, you will be the first point of contact in the unit and will ensure the quality, accuracy and security of data across police systems and databases. You will liaise with key internal and external partner agencies, working together to support the effective management of the IOM (Integrated Offender Management).
By supporting our team, you could help reduce the harm and demand in the community caused by prolific offenders. As a team we seek to identify long term solutions to reduce reoffending and reduce the harm caused to victims of crime by working in partnership with other agencies.
In this role, your main responsibilities will be:
- Providing an administrative service for IOM including co-ordinating meetings and taking meeting minutes to ensure all cases are reviewed in accordance to the agreed processes and guidelines.
- Recording information onto the violent and sex offenders’ database and keeping records within the departments.
- Processing and formulating information and making accurate initial assessments to support Offender Managers in determining the most appropriate response.
- Managing electronic mailboxes, incoming post and answering telephone calls promptly and efficiently.
Skills, experience and qualifications required:
- Experience of working in an administrative role including the ability to take minutes.
- Skilled computer user with knowledge of databases and Microsoft programmes including Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to effectively collate and disseminate information ensuring accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

This role is blended and therefore there will be the opportunity to work from home.
