M365 Developer
We’re looking for an experienced M365 Developer to join our IT Directorate and help deliver secure, reliable and innovative digital solutions that support policing and protect our communities.
You’ll act as a technical subject matter expert, working across the full development lifecycle to design, build and support applications that enable officers and staff to do their jobs effectively and safely.
The role
- Design, develop, test and support applications using Microsoft technologies
- Lead or contribute to technical projects, standards and solution design
- Develop Power Platform solutions that improve efficiency and user experience
- Deliver robust system integrations and support database configuration
- Provide expert technical advice to colleagues and managers
- Diagnose and resolve system issues, ensuring high availability and performance
- Produce clear technical documentation and support continuous improvement
- Keep up to date with emerging technology and best practice in a policing environment
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Experience in a mature IT environment
- Strong understanding of Agile development
- Excellent technical and communication skills
- Collaborative approach to working in multidisciplinary teams
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 stack, including Power Platform and governance best practice
