Staff - Safeguarding Protective Order Officer
To work as part of a team that will proactively target perpetrators of Stalking behaviour through pursue, prevent, protect and promote activity to reduce repeat events for both victims and perpetrators of abuse.
The postholder will offer specialist advice, support and give recommendations to officers regarding preventative orders including Stalking Protection Orders (SPO).
The postholder is responsible for the administrative process of the force’s SPO’s and other DA orders including DVPO’s which will be made available for strategic meetings with senior leaders. They will provide a coordinated link between local policing, specialist units, the courts and partners to ensure appropriate intervention of victims and targeting of perpetrators takes place.
