Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is a five-force collaboration delivering Counter Terrorism (CT) services to our regional forces as well as forming part of the national CT Network. CTPNWs mission is to work together to keep people safe from terrorism.

An opportunity has arisen for a Constable to join the Regional Prison Intelligence Team
We are looking for a dedicated and committed individual to join our Prison Intelligence Team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for TACT offenders in the prison estates across the North West and ensure the gathering of intelligence from HM Prisons to support National Security Functions.
Candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate being able to work in different environments, as the role will include visiting prison and mental health estates, working closely with partners within HMP and Probation to share information and build intelligence around TACT offenders.
Candidates should have excellent computer skills and feel confident in undertaking searching and retrieving important information and be confident liaising with both internal and external partners.
Candidates will gain skills such as exploring opportunities to source recruitment from within the prison estate and supporting technical assets within prison estates. The role will include travel to prison estates and therefore candidates must be prepared to travel and hold a UK driving licence.
CTPNW supports the national mission to keep the UK safe from terrorism.
