Salary: £25,242 – £26,703 (NYP Scale 3)

The Opportunity
Join us as an Exhibits Management Support Officer and play a vital role in keeping investigations on track. Based in York, you’ll be part of a supportive Front Counter and Exhibits team, ensuring that every item seized during an investigation is recorded, stored, and managed with care and integrity.
This is a role for someone who loves detail, takes pride in accuracy, and enjoys being a trusted point of expertise. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Uniformed Operations and Crime & Justice units, helping to maintain the highest standards and supporting successful outcomes for our communities.

What We’re Looking For
- Ability to maintain accurate records and demonstrate attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with manual handling and lifting
- Computer literate and confident in learning new systems
- Organised and able to work independently
Desirable:
- Understanding of exhibits management in a policing context
- Knowledge of Police (Property) Act 1897, Police (Property) Regulations 1997, and Data Protection Act
- Familiarity with Niche RMS
