Business Support Services Branch provides Greater Manchester Police with bespoke in-house support services. These services include Vehicle Fleet Management, Logistics, Referrals (Vehicle Recovery / Undertakers), Procurement, Uniform and Equipment, Design and Print, Facilities Management, Finance and Admin, Sustainability, Catering, Cleaning and Security.
The role of a Stores Assistant is to conduct uniform fittings with Police Officers, Police Staffs and new recruits ensuring they have the correct fitting uniform and equipment for their role. You must be accurate at checking stock and receipting goods in a busy Stores environment.
The successful candidate will be polite, friendly and assist in all customer requirements. Treating people with respect, taking responsibility to solve problems and be able to work on their own and as part of team.
