We are now hiring for a Fleet Stores and Warranty Supervisor to manage the parts supply, processes, and staff in our stores department.

What does the Fleet Stores and Warranty Supervisor role involve?
You will be working within a small team of people. We are a hard-working and committed team, and this role is important because we are responsible for keeping our fleet of 560 operational police vehicles on the road. Every day is different whatever your role in policing, so here’s an overview of your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Manage stock/parts levels, procurement, and stock control to maintain vehicle availability
- Oversee warranty claims processing and liaise with suppliers to maximise financial recovery
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and internal policies in stores operations
- Supervise and lead the dedicated team of stores administrators
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with manufacturers and suppliers
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure we operate as efficiently and effectively as possible
- Review existing policies and procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose

Please note that, as part of the vetting process, the BCH Vetting Unit may need to contact your current line manager for a Supervisor Appraisal. This requirement aligns with the 2025 National Guidelines for Vetting (APP 6.5.18).
