Hours: 37 hours - Shift pattern working days, between 0700-1700, Monday to Sunday on a “6 days on 4 days off” rota pattern.

Job Description:

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Missing Person Team of Nottinghamshire Police. A permanent vacancy has arisen for the role of Missing Person Co-ordinator within the Safeguarding and Prevent side of the Missing Person Team. The team forms part of the Vulnerability Hub based at Nottinghamshire Police Force Headquarters.

The team has the purpose of safeguarding missing persons and reducing their missing episodes, and as a Missing Persons Co-ordinator you will be key in ensuring vulnerable missing persons are safeguarded and that problem solving approaches are used to reduce missing episodes.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing risk related to vulnerable people. They will be skilled in working closely with partner agencies and will be able to represent Nottinghamshire Police in multi - agency, problem-solving meetings to safeguard missing persons. They will ensure compliance with Missing Persons’ national guidance, force procedures and local protocols, being able to provide guidance to operational staff regarding missing persons investigations.

Vetting Level – Management – you must have resided in the UK for at least the last 5 years, with less than 12 months spent abroad (some exceptions for those living on a UK military base).
