Salary:  £32,613 per annum rising to £40,383 + generous Local Government Pension and generous annual leave entitlement.

This is a unique chance to join the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) at a pivotal transitional phase.

In 2024, we welcomed a new Police and Crime Commissioner and recently a new Chief Constable, bringing fresh leadership and renewed ambition to policing and community safety in the county.

In March 2025 the Police and Crime Commissioner launched an ambitious new five-year Police and Crime Plan - setting out a bold vision for a safer Hertfordshire. This marks an exciting time to join our team as we build the capacity and capability to deliver on this vision.

About the role

As a member of the PMO function you will support the delivery of the Police and Crime Plan by providing high-quality coordination, governance, and administrative support across the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC). You will play a role in ensuring the smooth operation of strategic boards and partnership activities and contribute to transparent and accountable oversight of policing services.

The Police and Crime Commissioner is an elected official however the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner is a non-political office the posts within are politically restricted.
