Salary: The starting salary is £34,808 which includes allowances totalling £2,928.
The salary is broken down as £31,880 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £34,108 Plus, a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the CARM Support Team as a CARM Support Administrator within the Metropolitan Police.
MO6 is a multi-faceted OCU that not only plans and delivers all policing plans in response to spontaneous and pre-planned events in London, we are also responsible for the delivery of all CARM related work such as yearly roster renewals, shift pattern changes, the movement of staff around the MPS, CARM access, overtime, pay queries and the management of annual leave and rest days.
The Role
As a CARM Support Administrator you will work closely with your supervisor and team colleagues to play a key role in supporting & dealing with all CARM related enquiries across the MPS providing accurate and timely support to officers and staff through the CARM system. The role ensures that duty planning, overtime, annual leave, and pay-related matters are administered effectively, enabling the Public Order Command to deliver operational policing with confidence.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Grant and maintain access permissions for CARM, ensuring appropriate access aligned to role and rank so staff can fulfil their duties.
- Resolve overtime, regulation, and pay queries, ensuring accurate reflection in CARM to support correct payroll outcomes.
- Manage annual leave queries and adjustments, including yearly carryovers, to maintain workforce availability and compliance with regulations.
- Process cancelled rest days or time off in lieu (TOIL) so that officers receive accurate entitlements.
- Work with Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) to resolve system issues, ensuring service continuity.
- Collaborate with police officers, staff, HR, Payroll, and the Police Federation to resolve enquiries and maintain compliance with policy.
- Maintain accurate records and spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.
- Provide advice and guidance on duties-related regulations, supporting officers and staff to understand their entitlements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of CARM-related processes to enhance service delivery.
