Job Title: Performance Analyst

Hours: 37 hours per week Full Time / Permanent (will be under flexi working policy – hours to be worked between 7am and 6:30pm).
Main Purpose of Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Performance and Insight Team as a Performance Analyst. You will be responsible for the provisions of data and analysis in relation to organisational performance understanding and crime prevention strategies. You will attend meetings across the force to present performance and crime prevention data and associated insight at strategic and tactical level meetings. You will directly impact the forces crime prevention approach and understanding of performance and resource alignment through analysis and evidence-based recommendations.
Further to this, you will support the forces Power BI implementation, working with relevant business areas to develop and build products, allowing self-service statistics access, empowering business areas to understand their departmental performance in greater detail and supporting their crime prevention tactics.
You will need to keep abreast of both local and national changes within policing such as crime recording and process changes, that may impact police data.
We currently have 1 vacancy within the team to work specifically with crime prevention data and analysis.
