Social Media Advisor
We’re looking for a creative and dynamic social media advisor to join our small, award-winning media team.As social media advisor, you’ll take the lead on Durham Constabulary’s social media channels, planning, developing, and delivering engaging and accessible content that builds trust and confidence within our local communities.
The role is about more than just posting updates – it’s about identifying and telling stories that matter to our communities. You’ll be innovative, with a keen eye for detail, and will have experience of creating engaging social media content in a professional capacity.
As a subject matter expert, you’ll be able to use analytics to target your content to the relevant audiences, grow our channels, and increase engagement, ensuring that decision making is based on solid analytical information.
You’ll also be confident in advising officers and staff across all ranks on the best use of social media.
